# Spend

> Track your AWS spend by month or year, by service, and by account.

The **Spend** page shows what you pay AWS, broken down by service and by AWS account. Every member of your organization can open it from the main menu.

## Choose a period

Use the period picker to view a single month or a full year. You can browse back to earlier years to compare past spend.

## Read the chart

The **Total spend** chart stacks your costs by service, so you can see which services drive your bill. Use **Filter services** to focus on specific services, or **Select all** and **Clear all** to reset the view.

## Breakdown by service and account

Below the chart, the **Service** and **Account** tables list how much each service and each AWS account cost in the selected period. For complete months, a **% vs last month** column shows how each amount changed.

  AWS can take up to 2 days to report costs, so the most recent days may not appear yet.
